Milky Way and Mesa Arch running in Parallel

Last year I embarked on a project to photograph iconic Southwestern scenes with a twist. I wanted to photograph these scenes at night. My first stop was Mesa Arch. The arch has been shot thousands of times with the Sun rising below the arch. My idea was to shoot it with the Milky Way rising above. There is only a few week window where this shot is even possible and I mapped this out with an app before making the trip. Once I picked my date I had to wait and hope for clear skies.
