Memories of Unrememberable Past (2014-4)

I make an explosion on the surface of unexposed films in the total darkness. The film captures the experience of firepower that is still being used around the world; threatening and taking away human lives. The final image is a portrait of one’s memory that had experienced the release of energy in various forms: light, scars left from explosion and the extreme heat, chemical reaction, and the passing of time.
