lioness fresh from her kill

On an early morning game drive, we were fortunate to come upon this lioness coming out from the underbrush where she had just been enjoying the fruits of her fresh kill - a baby wildebeest. We could see the little beestie's feet sticking up. She immediately sat down and cleaned herself, but we were quick enough to capture the evidence of red blood on her fur.
