Jumping for Joy

While sitting at my kitchen table, enjoying my morning cup of coffee and going through the pictures from my last photo shoot, I heard some unusual squawking sounds coming from our Balcony. I turned around, and to my surprise, there was an Oriental Pied Hornbill sitting right thereon out deck. I quickly and quietly called my mom and sister to come look at this amazingly happy bird on our deck as I grabbed my camera and started shooting before he departed. Although I didn't dare open the door to scare our new resident, he was quite the model as he curiously peered into our house and began jumping for joy as his partner came and joined him on the side railing. They didn't stay too long, but just long enough for me to snap a couple of quick photos before departing to find a place with a little more to offer in the food department I can imagine.
