Isolated From Mainland
A massive Steller Sea Lion basks on a buoy in the Pacific Ocean with the mainland of Canada visible in the distant horizon. What appears to be scars on the side of the sea lion were not inflicted through battles on the open seas but rather from man himself. To further man's understanding of "science" in the animal world, serial numbers were imprinted on on the sea lion's back by "researchers" with the motive of better understanding these animals in the wild. The cruelty of man is without limit.
