I walk alone

Polar bears live a solitary existence, carving out an existence in a world of black and white. The animals, already pitted against one of the least hospitable environments on earth, are now fighting larger threats due to the encroach of global warming on their habitats. For me, this shot captured not only the apex predator's lonely existence, but its lonely plight against the rapidly changing world it lives in.
