Hoatzin Spreads its Wings

This hoatzin, also known as the stinkbird or Canje pheasant, was seen near the shore at the Napo Wildlife center in the Ecuadorian Amazon. It is a species of tropical bird often seen at waterside, principally in the Amazon or Orinoco river.
