Hawks of the Prairies

A couple things that everyone notices while driving through the Prairies is that it is flat and there are not an abundant of forests. I noticed that where there are trees there was an abundance of wildlife; specifically birds of prey and their nests. I pulled over on a side road to check the map and there blasts a hawk right by the windscreen. I get out and notice that it has taken perch on a nearby fence as the other hawk stays quite still in the nest.
