I spent 5 days on foot photographing wild Coastal Brown Bears and their cubs. This sow and her 2 third years cubs took advantage of low tide to dig for clams. This will be their last year with mom and they have to hone their skills before they venture on their own. The bears did not seem to be bothered with my presence but the occasional eye contact from mom reminded me that my presence was recognized!
