Went to a spot that I regularly go to for taking photos of various birds that live near the shore of the river. A group of white pelicans frequently reside here, but I’ve never been able to get really good closeups in the past. The day that I took this, everything was in my favor; lighting, opportunity, and weather. A group of pelicans was closer than I’ve ever been to them. So I was able to get some really good closeups.
