Gorilla Mother with Baby
Payment from tourists help buy roofs for houses, schools, and shoes for Rwandan citizens. It helps preserve habitat of the animals being visited. It employs citizens. Trackers keep track of primate groups and use radios to help the tourist's guides come quickly to the primates each day. This mother was part of a 16 member family that is very accustomed to human visitors. She watched me quietly as her baby nursed.
