12th Annual Smithsonian.com Photo Contest
One night, in winter about a year ago, I was leaving an event downtown Boise and stepped outside instantly caught into a fog. We all have seen fog, driving to work or school, but at night it was something different. I had never seen so much fog in my life and instantly became in love with what I could try and capture. As I walked towards my car, right by the capital I saw the crazy amount of glowing light that struck through the fog and thought what a great photo this could make.
