Flowers in the Plaza des Armas

In the barrio centro of Antofagasta is a park called the Plaza des Armas. The name is a reference to weapons (armas), but bears no particular evidence of military might. Instead, it provides a place of beauty, with flowering trees, fountains, and statues.
