First Light at Tomales Point

I arose in the wee early hours because I wanted to be on location while it was still dark. As I arrived the first glimpse of light was starting to appear on the horizon. Squinting my eyes combing the area I spotted three Bull Elk. Fortunately by the time that it took to set up by gear and position myself the first rays of the sun began to illuminate the horizon and this transformed the Bull Elk into a beautiful silhouette.
