Faces in the desert
This picture is of a large flat fin type Wingate sandstone formation on the Escalante River that looks like a large face. This fin consists of several variations of the face sectioned by two large cracks in the middle. One that runs vertical and one that runs horizontal. At this angle the variation containing the largest face is visible.
