Newton is an imprinted Great Horned Owl who serves as an educational ambassador for the Ojai Raptor Center, a nonprofit based in southern California. Unfit to survive on their own, imprinted birds of prey often find homes in wildlife centers where they are used to educate the public about the importance of their existence.
