Egret looking at its lost habitat

Only a year earlier the mud flat this Great Egret is looking over was marsh. Now it has been drained for expansion of the port. You can imagine what this egret was thinking. Did he return here annually and now finds it lost? The construction equipment in the background enhances this image.
