Drop of Water

On a cloudy day in Rocky Mountain National Park, I was interested in capturing the aspens turning to gold. But, the trees did not look spectacular, so I turned my sites to the ground. There, the recently fallen aspen leaves contrasted against the dead and decaying organic debris. I especially liked the remaining green chlorophyll outlining the leaf veins.
