Don't Eat Me!

This red capped American Caesar's mushroom was almost at full bloom, when I stumbled upon it in October. The little cherry nipple on this Caesarea looked good enough to eat, although it is not recommended because it can be confused with the red and orange forms of the poisonous Fly Agaric mushroom.
