Diamondback Wasp Attack!

This photograph is the second to last of six that I shot in a burst when I came across the swallowtail butterfly. I did not know the drama I had captured until I reviewed my photo shoot later that day. The butterfly was feeding on bergamot when it was attacked by a diamondback wasp. The wasp is predatory and the swallowtail would be a significant prize.
