Yesterday, I had the opportunity to head out into the desert north of Scottsdale, Arizona. I have never really spent any significant time in the desert before. Despite a run-in with a rather irritated snake and an unfortunate interaction with a very thorny cactus, I marveled at the beauty of this landscape.
