Death Valley Dunes at Sunset

We passed through Death Valley after a long trip from Washington, and ende up at these Mesquite Dunes at around 3pm. It was either wait in the car until the heat turned from insanely hot to almost insanely hot, or just get out and start walking. We walked. The dunes were beautiful, but when the sun finally started dipping down, the dunes became stunning. The golden light bouncing off the dunes, and harsh shadows made this image what it is.
