Daybreak at Split Rock Lighthouse

The transition from twilight to sunrise can be dramatic and rich with color and texture. While Mother Nature painted the stunning canvas, the gentle waves of Lake Superior provided the perfect accompaniment. I found great inspiration in my experience at Split Rock Lighthouse. I am reminded to remain present, because these moments are fleeting; conditions change quickly and the artistic creations have soon passed. I am grateful to preserve those moments from nature through photography.
