Dawn breaks over Gunung Tujuh and Southeast Asia's tallest lake, Sumatra, Indonesia.

Atop Gunung Tujuh in central Sumatra lies Southeast Asia’s tallest lake. The lake sits roughly 8,000’ above sea level and is formed from the crater of an ancient volcano. Seven peaks surround the lake, hence the name ‘Gunung Tujuh’ (7 mountains) in the Indonesian language.
