Cormorant drying it's wings

Typical pose of a great Cormorant drying it's wings. Coast of Sanlucar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Spain. Phalacrocorax carbo - great cormorant. Interesting is the ship on the background; it's only half a ship!!! It's the famous "rice ship". In 1994, a ship loaded with 6080 tons of rice stranded, due to low tide. The rice cargo inflated with seawater to the point of breaking the metal doors that kept it. The ship ended up splitting in two, and has been there ever since.
