(Stenocercus lache) to 4088 masl Taking a sunbath to regulate their body temperature, This species of lizard is endemic to Colombia. It is adapted to live in the moorland to higher altitudes to 4000 masl, where the temperature gets too low and therefore it is very difficult survival of a cold-blooded animal.
