Cloud Forest Anole in Habitat

An Equatorial Anole (Anolis aequatorialis) from the cloud forest on the Western side of the Andes mountains. One of the denizens of the forest, like many others the anole relies on its camouflage to remain hidden and as a first line of defense. If that should fail, the anole can vanish in a blink of an eye into the lush vegetation of the forest.
