The red-shanked douc is on the IUCN Red List of endangered species. The word "douc" is a Vietnamese word meaning "torch". The main predator of the red-shanked douc is humans. Son Tra Peninsula, Vietnam is the place they live mostly in the world. The huge plan to develop Son Tra into a national-level tourism area will threatened the survival of this species. The red-shanked douc need help!
