California Dreaming

The California sea lions of La Reina, Mexico, is a colony of only male sea lions. They are particularly inquisitive, playful and would not hesitate to investigate when scuba divers enter their domain. In this picture, a pride of sea lions slipped into the water as soon as I approached them. They were particularly curious, perhaps attracted by the flashing lights of my underwater strobes.
