Butterfly just emerged from pupa

This Black Swallowtail butterfly had just emerged from its pupa. The metamorphosis from caterpillar to pupa to this beautiful butterfly is amazing. During the pupa stage, the caterpillar turns to liquid, which you can still see at the bottom of the pupa. This liquid then reorganizes the cells to produce a butterfly.
