Nature boardwalk in Chicago's Lincoln Park is lovely place to stroll any time of the year. Early February this year, while waiting for my sister to come out of the dental appointment, I decided to walk around the pond. It was partially frozen. I noticed couple of (what looked like) oil spots in the water and annoyed that somebody would throw dirt into the pond, decided to photograph it as the example of human abuse of nature. Only later I noticed air bubbles captured in the ice.
