Bristlecone Night

I captured this photo high in the Rocky Mountains above the small town of Alma. A cropping of ancient Bristlecone Pine trees stand rooted at the top of this ridge. A 25 second camera exposure allows for a capture of the Milky Way unlike anything our own eyes can see.
