Botany Bay Plantation

The road leads to Botany Bay Plantation on Edisto Island in South Carolina. It is a heritage island and wildlife preserve along the southern US Atlantic coast below Charleston. A "boneyard" of dead trees reaches out into the ocean along parts of the shore and visitors have decorated the shoreline vegetation with shells washed up from the ocean. Spanish "moss" adorns many trees in this warm and humid environment
