My wife entered the kitchen Sunday morning and saw, through the sliding glass door, this beautiful bobcat stalking a chipmunk on a bird-feeder. When the chipmunk jumped down and ran towards the bobcat, she gasped and that's when I believe the bobcat sensed our presence. It disregarded the chipmunk and casually walked to the rock nearby and sat for some time, framed by the irises. It had another chance at a meal when a squirrel jumped onto a fence-post 8 feet away. The bobcat went into a crouch, but again decided against and sauntered into the woods.
