Blue Heron while hiking trails and swampland at Magnolia Plantation
My husband and I were hiking at Magnolia Plantation near Charleston when we took a little-used trail into a swamp area of bamboo, bald cypress, spanish moss, and wetland trees. I have seen many blue herons before, but never one so truly blue! The lighting was perfect, as was the day.
