Bald Cypress tree in fall colors at Caddo Lake in East Texas

I found myself in the swamps of East Texas at a time when the light was unflattering . I did not get the fog this time around (I did the following week) nor good sunset/sunrise colors. I also did not find that staged human element in the form of a kayaker in the fog. Given that, I followed light to find this Bald Cypress tree basking in the glow of the setting sun filtering through the moss covered forest.
