Photographed in Anilao, Philippines. The Network Pipefish is a very skiddish animal, very cautious of predators. They can remain perfectly still, until they cannot stand the suspense any longer... then they have to look to see if you are still there. I think it is adorable when they peek up to see if you are still there. I used a 105mm lens on my Nikon D7100,
