Angel Knot, the tides formed knots in the plastic littering the Gowanus Canal

The Gowanus Canal is full of lead, arsenic, cut flowers, condoms, lead, human feces, gonorrhea and plenty of plastic. The plastic is unusually alluring almost classical. They seduce the viewer and then shock a bit when it becomes clear is plastic and contamination. This is from my gowns Canal project which included a phonebook, artist talk and exhibition.
