An early blizzard swirls through northeastern Kansas.

A November blizzard covered northeastern Kansas in snow, with drifts close to 10 inches deep. Here, it completely obscures the road and weighs down the branch of a maple tree that hasn't had a chance to finish dropping its leaves.
