A waiting predator

The photo shows a single female out of a pride of 11 that were active in the area. This was taken during the hottest part of the day where temperatures reached 39 degrees Celsius or 102 degrees Fahrenheit. the pride were waiting patiently in the shade of the limited plant life, allowing this shot to be taken of the over heating lions.
