A Sea Otter & Pup on the northern end of Vancouver Island

"Baby On Board" Sea Otters will stay with mom for about 6 months, nursing for the first 4 weeks before transitioning to solid foods. The bond between mom and pup are strong and she will defend her pup from aggressive males.
