A male bluebird coming in for a "short field" landing

“A Short Field Landing” This male bluebird in full landing configuration. Wings fully extended. Feet (landing gear) about to touch down. The male was returning to the nest and demonstrated the perfect landing. No wonder we learned how to fly by watching the birds!
