June is breeding time for the blue land crab in south florida and they can be seen scurrying around roads near sources of water. When approached they will often stand their ground with attitude, waving their large claws at the potential threat. For insects and smaller animals the land crab must look like a formidable predator, and to portray that i decided to take images from a very low angle. The result is a giant in a small world.
