A fern unfurling in a meadow in Teton Village, Wyoming

I was hiking in the Teton Village in Wyoming and I came across a meadow. Some of the ferns were unfurling. I got closer and the ferns, are still beautiful but they take on different characteristics when they haven’t opened completely.
