While documenting a bear hunt in Athabasca (Alberta, Canada), I was stationed at one of the tree stands where hunters wait for bears to investigate the bait they put out. This bear came in after about two hours of waiting. Anise seed oil was sprayed on the tree to attract the bear, and this one was very interested. His lungs were strong, each deep inhalation/exhalation sounded like it could knock the tree down.
