A barn owl's starring contest

A barn owl gapes through my lens, perfect alignment of it's turned head, and luscious eyes. Eye contact is something we all desire, because of it's power and authenticity, this simple photo demonstrates exactly that. Stare into its' eyes and you will enter a void full of emotions and symbols.
