Scuttling on the Pacific coast of Mexico

Near a small village called Mazunte in Oaxaca, Mexico, there is a rocky outcrop that goes out into the ocean called Punta Cometa. A ten minute hike from the beach, it has panoramic views of the ocean and a beautiful sunset. While everyone looks to the horizon though, there is activity near their feet, this little creature contributing to it all. I haven't managed to figure out the species though.
