Glimpse from the Roman Colosseum

While touring the ruins of the Roman Colosseum, I turned the corner and saw an evening ray of light hitting a monument in front of me. A sense of nostalgia overcame as I saw the fleeting light not only capture the history of the beautiful city but the eager crowds of people hungry for knowledge of the past which helped shape our world today. Without the efforts for preservation of the ruins, you and I would never get the chance to experience and enrich our lives with history, culture, and life. There are less fleeting moments- made possible with sustainable travel.
