Galaxy Spider

Even though it was less than a centimetre long, I couldn't help noticing this spider on a bush walk one day. Despite its bold red appearance, the Red and Black Spider (Ambicodamus crinitus) is not dangerous. I couldn't believe the detail on its abdomen, which reminded me of a Hubble galaxy photo.
