GADBADE FESTIVAL

These gadbade lamps are made of mud along with some cuts passing oxygenated air to the lamp which is necessary for lighting the diya placed inside them. This festival is celebrated on Sharad Purnima, which generally comes during the month of October or November. This is the full moon night which come just few days before Diwali (Hindu Festival with lights). According to Hindu Religion moon light of Sharad Purnima is very pure so people worship moon light celebrating Gadbade.
